One Three Members!
Class is not normally outside!
Gillian St. Clair and Mary Beth Harding are two yoga teachers who offer classes inside The Space under the old fire station across the street from 313 East at 1220 Gallatin Avenue. Join us to move and connect before, after or during your work day!
The Space is not a traditional yoga studio. We offer small group classes in a variety of styles on different days and times in our cozy studio. Classes meet weekly for 4-weeks and occasionally we offer pop-ups and workshops. Each of us runs our own yoga business although we often collaborate and support each other as best we can! We believe that Yoga is a wonderful way to become more centered, more aware, and compassionate. If you’re ready to dedicate some time to connect with your body, breath, and mind - we’re here for you!

She started her asana practice in 1999 after a life of dancing (ballet & contemporary). She has studied with a wide of variety of teachers across many styles and movement modalities. Gillian incorporates aspects of dance, mobility, and strength training into many of her yoga asana practices.
She uses humor throughout her classes, and life, and loves when people laugh at her jokes. She adores and thanks the universe daily for her husband Jason and their daughter Sydelle.
Her teaching styles include:
Vinyasa
Ashtanga Primary Series & Variations (Mix-Up)

Mary Beth Harding
Mary Beth is a trauma-informed teacher who believes Yoga can be a powerful tool for transformation. She strives to teach practitioners how to use the tools of this practice to bring more ease into their lives. Her expertise is in sports yoga, mobility, and yoga for rest and recovery. She strongly believes that everyone can practice yoga and loves working with beginners, those skeptical of the practice, and those marginalized by the mainstream Western Postural Yoga culture. She enjoys taking this practice out of studio spaces and into the community.
Her asana (movement) teaching is rooted in safety, curiosity, and exploration. It incorporates a variety of shapes and movements that are widely accessible to many bodies. We also practice meditation, pranayama (breathwork), and other limbs of yoga throughout class.
Many of her physical practices focus on improved mobility and creating comfort in the body because without this foundation of physical ease it is difficult to practice other aspects of yoga such as being a kinder person to yourself and the world around you. Yoga is all about connection - connecting your mind, body, and spirit, connecting to your community, connecting to the universe. Mary Beth weaves yogic and Daoist philosophy throughout class to encourage us to not only care for ourselves, but to take action and care for others.
Her teaching styles include:
Hatha-Vinyasa
Yin Yoga
Gentle Yoga
Restorative Yoga
Mobility
